Kelli Thomas

Community Leader | Sociologist | Teaching Artist | Actress | Arts Advocate | Consultant

Kelli Thomas is the heart behind Act Well Co. A dynamic force in both the arts and nonprofit sectors, she combines her passion for performance with a deep commitment to community impact. Kelli is an alumna of the University of Indianapolis, where she earned dual undergraduate degrees in Theatre and Sociology, followed by a Master’s in Applied Sociology with a concentration in Nonprofit Management and Community Leadership.

 

With experience spanning from the stage to the strategy table, Kelli has

successfully managed federal, state, and private grants, led community engagement initiatives, developed operational frameworks, and served on executive leadership teams across various arts organizations. As an artist, her work extends beyond acting into technical production, set construction, and stage management — a true creative and logistical powerhouse.

 

Whether she’s building bridges between communities, empowering teams behind the scenes, or taking center stage, Kelli brings insight, energy, and vision to every project. Her mission is simple: help organizations act well — because in doing so, there all honor lies.
